A TR plug is a projected tip with tapered seat.

the NGK 8's (r5671a-8) are non-projected with a gasket type seat. These will work on both types or heads...whether its gasket style seat or tapered seat. You just cant run a tapered seat plug on a gasket style seat.

Passing wrong information annoys the **** out of me. Thats why I correct the NGK crap. Its such a pita just to find good information anymore on this site. 90% is BS or opinions and the other 10% is the stuff thats hard to find.

Thanks..

You could use the -7 or you can also run the BP7EFS as its the tapered seat version, non-projected whereas the -7 is the gasket type seat, non-projected.

I use them both and prefer the -7 over the other I listed because it brings the plug back thethickness of the compressed gasket to draw even more heat out of the chamber...

Some plug links from Summit:

http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...s=false&N=+115

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

What is the difference between the two? The second one is gasketed? I know it is since I have one in front of me.

I'm wondering how folks did with TR7's either in the gasketed or the non-gasketed style?
