145 MPH on pump gas?
Just wondering if you can get a turbo 3500 lb race weight f-body in the mid nines on pump gas alone? This would be with a 402.I dont mean the perfect run either I mean consistently.Thats what I have now, but with nitrous.
I have a friend thats going to start building a car and wants to go mid 9s@145+ but doesn't want to use nitrous. Is this possible or is totally stupid?

im going for 150mph next year with pump gas (93). i would have hit 145 this year with no traction, but i was limited by my gearing. i had it pegged on the limiter and trapped 141. very doable. my car is an everyday good weather street car, no nitrous, no meth, 366 CI, 3900+lbs

I ran 10.52 @ 145.14mph at the weekend on pump gas only. My first run of the weekend.
That was with a 1.97 60ft time, race weight 3620lbs.
No doubt I could have gone faster....but all runs after that were with methanol. If the track wasnt as busy, I'd have done more runs without the methanol, but as things were, I switched it on for all subsequent runs.
When I get a chance at a track again, and it isnt too busy, I will defo be experimenting more with pump only. But when you have to queue for 90 minutes to get one run....I was playing safe.
