Hmmm, I like Kevin's answer better than Steve's so I'm gonna go with what's behind door number 2 Alex.

Out of idle curiosity (well, not so idle as I need to buy one), who makes that transmission cooler w/ fan you've got tucked up in the rear?

it's a B&M transcooler. Turns the fan on when it reaches 160-170 degree temps. Works great so far. Im sure once we start running some serious boost through this car.. we may need to upgrade to something that runs through the intercooler tank, but right now this is going to work great for the street driving this car is going to see early next year when the weather gets nice around this area.

Do you have the Part # or specific on the transcooler? I've been looking at B&M coolers and not quite sure which one would be the best.

Buy the largest cooler you can in GVW. Otherwise, the baddest cooler you can get is the Derale 16 pass cooler with a fan for the street or strip. Anything more extreme for racing should get tied into the water for the intercooler to help suck the temperatures down.

On Summit's site, ya, that's the 16 pass Derale w/ -8an inlet/outlet. 13700 is the same w/ -6an inlet/outlet. Also might wanna check out 13750 (-6an) and 15850 (-8an); they're more expensive, but they're also a plate design (like the B&M) instead of tube and fin. Check out 13021 (6an) and 15721 (8an) as well; they're thermostats for those coolers that turn the fans on at 180 and off at 170 like the B&M unit.

Well that sucks.
Great job on the car by the way. Next year at Milan is going to be fun. LSx cars will be out in force.
