Help with TTiX and Motor build I need some help putting together a engine to use with the TTiX Twin Turbo kit on my 2002 Z06. I will be pulling the motor this winter and would like to start shopping around for the forged short block. I’m looking to stay with the stock LS6 347, since that will make more power then I put down. I already have the return fuel system, boost a pump with 60# injectors, ECS Meth kit, and Textilia clutch.
A couple of questions that I have, what compression ration should I shoot for that will drive really well on the street and what heads? I’m thinking I might want to use my stock Z06 cam, and replace the heads. The car is mostly street driven and only sees that track once or twice a year. I’m not a fan of lopy idle cams that shake your filling out. I’m hoping for around 700HP with stock like off idle acceleration.
Max boost would be 14# on 94 Octane and spraying Meth. I would probbly run a High and Low boost setting.

How much boost and what octane fuel is available?
AFR205 are a pretty good mainstay with great drivability. Suggest the upgraded spring for sure. If your going to run in excess of 12psi a good target would be in the 8.8:1 range using off the shelf parts to get you there to keep costs down.

I see your not in CA, good thing about that is you got 93/94 octane. I would suggest a 9.0-9.2:1 compression ratio with a set of nice ported heads to help spool that turbo. A nice idle / good FI cam is the LPE GT2-3 cam. A stock z06 cam is actually a great FI cam.
Check out the z06 we installed the HP turbo kit on and forged the short block. It should lead you in the right direction,
