Question STS Turbo Questions

I just have a dumped 3 in Xpipe, Sweet Thunder Mufflers, and LT's done. Am I gonna have to tear my exhaust up for the turbo or what? And if i do end up getting it what other mods am I gonna have to do for the car to run good besides intake mods, basically what i absoulutely have to do? Or should i just do the Lsx 90/90, lid, and a good set of heads with a cam and tune?

or scrap the turbo idea and go with a supercharger

you could keep your exhaust then

if you want to go with a rear mounted turbo, ditch the longtubes and go back to stock manifolds. Or just go supercharger.

You could get that power with a stock motor, and 5 psi on the STS kit. I did it with a 60-1 turbo. Just make sure it's tuned really well. The long tubes would work, but it wouldn't be ideal. It probably would take a little longer to boost.

longtubes have too much surface area, heat loss.

your car as of right now... is set up for a front mount or super charger like the other guys state. You would need to basically go back to all stock components to make the most out of an STS..

not worth it if you have already done all those mods, plus the procharger will give you the results you are looking for, and is cheaper
