What do I need to do to make my car reliable This summer I had some problems with my car after I got most of the stuff finished.
First of my problems is cooling, I can't get it cooled down. I keep popping coolant lines esp under boost the temp increases.

The radiator sits behind a 4 inch thick griffin intercooler core, and the SPAL fans are between the radiator and intercooler.
Second problem is my exhaust, I had open downpipes in the engine bay and I think this could be part of my heat problem, I intend to fix this by making full proper exhaust.
Is there anything else I should do to resolve this heat? Turbo blankets? Wrapping exhaust pipes?

My $.02.... 1.The fans mounted to push are less efficient than in the puller set up.
2. The airflow from the I/C, thru the rad, is partially blocked by the fan shoud and motors.
3. Header wrap will help, as will a turbo blanket.
4. As mentioned above, ditch the elec water pump.
5. Is there a hood seal at the cowl area? If so, take it off. [ an old trik we did on the turbo Buicks]
6. We also added deflector plates beside, below, above, the rad, to force all the air thru the core.[Lots of air leaked out behind the headlites]

Do yuo stil have the air damn thing under the front bumper?Thats forces air into the RAD.You can also try some of that Red Line water wetter stuff in your coolant Ive herd it actually works well.I think Royal Purple makes some to.
