They are much quieter at idle without that mini dragster sound, very much like stock, and rolling they have a deep turbo sound. Boosted? I don't know or care really, the engine is rapping.

MISTERgadget "THEY WORK" I'm not an exhaust manufacturer! And I think I am giving cornered STS owners a nice option for a couple hundred bucks! Besides have you ever looked inside a X15? Have fun guys!

I'm just saying I don't think it looks good. I understand that with the STS system there's not much choice left. I never said it didn't work, just that it doesn't look good IMO.

oh man, that doesn't really look too appealing. I had a magnaflow bullet style muffler installed on the exit pipe with a 4" turn down tip that tucks under the rear facia and can't really be seen. It really gave it a nice rumble sound similar to what the stock cat-back magnaflow sounded like. I'd say about a 40% sound reduction at idle but still sounds great at rpm. I'll get a pic asap...

Yeah, there MY ugly part time mufflers and some other guys told me to coat them and they would look better. I honestly think they would always look like a cross between a tea kettle and barbacue, but, I love they way they function!

Oh yeah, were going to be waiting a long time to see to 16 plus inch bullets tucked under the rear facia of Corvette Z!

Maybe you could fog them black or something to kind of hide them a little.

No view, but they do stick out 3-4 inches more then the tips.
I could have the pipes from the turbo's shortened and get them under the car easy with the bend closer to the turbos (maybe not good), but the original tips would have to be lenthened back out for switching.

I recommend putting them back on the VW bug they belong on.

Makes me sick how you just ruined the appearance of a perfect Corvette rear view. Corvettes look good with shiny chrome 3 or 4 inch exhaust, not a couple of huffer pipes or whatever you call them. Sorry but I hate the way it looks. If you like it then go with it, but just can't get with the way it looks. Sorry bro, wrong move in my opinion.

"Plain" is a good thing. Rocketboosters are another.

Holy hell you guys are like a pack of dogs today...

If it weren't for the red I don't think they'd look too bad.... **** I don't don't think they look bad enough to warrant all of this as-is. I know how loud that car would have been without them, so I can appreciate that as well.
