If you guys need help with the eBoost, feel free to give me a call. It is really more controller than most of us need. A simple manual controller is all you really need. Save yourself $400.

Thanks, John... it's more an uneasy feeling when I'm trying to go through the menus to inspect the settings... I worry that I'll enter editing mode and futz up the value. I think I just need to spend some more time with it.

The Eboost may be $450, but in that price you also get a nice looking gauge....

Is there one for the LSX cars that will allow you to set boost via gears or speed?

Yes, EBoost2 will allow you to customize your boost via referenced input.

You can download the manual from here:

Ya, I knew I was in trouble when the controller didn't have a owners book, just a simple getting started page. You have to download the complete instructuions. They can't fit a encyclopedia sized book in that little box.

I am going with the Eboost2 cause its a badass setup and I do not need to buy all that stuff with a reg meth kit. I only need pump lines and nozzle and the eboost2 can turn the pump off and on via boost setting

A Meth Kit is a entire different setup, Lets you run more octane. has nothing to do with boost. Keeps your IAT cooler.

Uhhhhh Eboost2 can be set to turn the meth pump on and off at a set boost setting.

Which you would not need a meth controller.

Check this average meth kit costing $250.00

Now you have a Eboost2 already which is a boost controller and a gauge. Now you buy this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...ayphotohosting

Use you water tank for your wipers as your tank (alot of people do this) and you saved how much?

Hope you get my point now

...unless you want progressive methanol spray. The Alkycontrol kit (and others) uses a boost reference to apply varying amounts of methanol: more boost, more methanol. I like having that level of control.

Your EBoost2 control of the methanol switch would be on/off.

EBoost2 auxiliary output will use RPM or Boost readings as the trigger, but only opens/closes its switch for external device control. Unfortunately, no in-between.

That said, though, you could use a boost setpoint of about 60-70% of your max boost and perhaps that trigger point would start the methanol at the appropriate time. You'd really want to watch your A/F when that happens, though.
