How deep are the scores ?? They dont look bad at all ?

you were saying it looked like dirt was in the motor. It could have come through the blower. It is a procharger so it is less likely it has anything wrong with it. self contained oil unlike my vortech.

Builder said, part of the reason was the longer stroke. Which is why he is going with a larger skirt to have less rocking of the piston.

And ddnspider is correct, they are custom wiseco 17cc dished pistons

How could any dirt that may be within the procharger, get into the engine oil ????

By dirt...that could be the smallest speck of anything, most likely from the original build.

With a hone your pistons wouldnt have expanded into the cylinder walls potentially. Just something to think about before getting a while new block. How much are sleeves??

edit: What rod length is that btw? lol

Not sure how much sleeves are. Going to ask the builder.

Here is the pic of the rod.

damm ED... you are one of my vert heros brotha!!

personally, i wouldn't sleeve it. Now that it is out, you can rethink what you may have wanted out of it and build it accordingly/

Buy a 402 and sell the rods Ross pistons are running great in my current setup. Goodluck. No matter what I argued with you in the past I hate to see things like this happen. Good luck ED with your rebuild. I went thru a simular deal and had to rebuild it again. Spun a rod bearing. (Not my fault) But it all worked out.

I built this one the way I wanted. The only other option I considered was a SLP 402.

Thanks. No worries. I don't carry a grudge. Not worth my time.

A 402 would be nice. But if I can hit 700 rwhp with the new engine and a Procharger D1, then I would be happy.

You will hit 700 rwhp ED. Trust me. If I can do it with a P1SC you can do it with a D1SC.

I hope. I only hit over 500 rwhp with my P1.
