A few more install pics. The install keeps going well. The most time consuming part of the install is the radiator and fans since they require a fair amount trimming for the hood latch and bumper cover supports. I'm still amazed at how well everything fits with the lack of space. It's obvious Joel did his homework with the kit. I just need to find more free time to work more on the car. Joel, you have a very satisfied customer here.

Turbogoat got his hot parts and they look really nice. Intercoolers and cold parts is all he is waiting on along with alot of others.

Called and talked with Joel and the intercoolers and rad are all on there way from the guy who made them. Joel said I should have my complete kit by 1/12/07 so lets cross our fingers. If it gets shipped then I would have only waited 10 weeks

Turbos we are having to get on our own but I do not think that is Joel fault due to the fact he buys them from someone else and there out of stock. Not a issue I do not think atleast not with me.

Anyways I hope to have my kit by friday and installed over the weekend and off to get tuned and make HPE's Dyno day on the 1/20/07 and finally see what a built motor, heads, intake, cam, fuel, OFI Power GTO will do

Yeah I got all the hot parts, just need the turbo, IC, piping and BOV. Joel is supposed to be getting me my turbo since I had paid him in full, I dont have another $1500 to get a turbo on my own now. Spoke to him yesterday and he said the IC's were done and should be on the way to him and hopefully on their way to us by end of next week.

I will post pics later of the hotparts I was pleased to finally get stuff, although it just made me more anxious to get the complete kit 2weeks and counting until our track rental, Joel said I should have everything before that. Cant wait to finally start her up and get some dyno and track #'s

Joel I dropped off everything with my buddy who is a mechanic and doing the install for me.
One thing he pointed out right away was how the driver side header rubs into the downpipe which also sits right next to the wheel well wall. Basically he says there should be some clearance cause when the motor torques its gonna be a problem with all these rubbing each other.

In the picture what is that red thing I have pointed too? and do you have any thoughts on this contact. Thanks

It shouldnt be rubbing at all. How does he have the downpipe on without the turbo? That red thing is heat wrap that the customer put around the wire that is running along the frame rail.

it was just a quick mock up, but it was attached to the WG, it comes in contact with the wheel well wall for sure.....

the crossover looks to be real tight too, I almost think the mesh portion should have been a wee bit longer. It was hard to judge though cause the tranny cooler lines and ps steering lines were in the way, those have to be rerouted to the 05 configuration.

So your saying on the development car there is clearance between the downpipe and the wheel well wall?
