Default D1sc Quesitons?

How much boost can a D1SC push out on a 346? What RPM and what pulley size will max one out? I am looking to build a forged 346 and make around 600RWHP with ported 6.0 heads and somewhere around a 9.0-9.5:1 compression. I'm looking to do the ultimate budget LS1 build up because I am poor and still need to have a stupid fast car. I figure 600 should be pretty easy to make with forged internals right? I have seen a few around 700rwhp and I am pretty sure KP makes that or more.

Well a P1SC-1 can support 600 RWHP with the right combo so I am sure you can get that and more with a D1SC.

I was running 6 psi on a stock bottomend 346 and made 600rwhp!!! The D1SC will support 800+rwhp on a 383 stroker so I'm sure you can get 720-740rwhp on a 346 with all the supporting mods!!! EPP seems to do it all the time...so I would shoot them a PM or check out there web site!!!

Thanks, yes, check out the project car section of my website.

Over 700 rwhp on a Mustang Chassis Dyno, which uses eddy current would be approx 750 rwhp on a DynoJet Chassis Dyno! Considering some of this horsepower is used up through the IRS rear-end, this is really impressive! All out of just 346 cubic inches!

717 rwhp and 717 ft lbs of torque - On a Mustang Chassis Dyno to boot! This would be well over 800 hp at the engine!

Still have pulley sizing questions. Can anyone break that down for me?

Pulley sizes are determined by what components you have on your engine, along with your altitude. Generally speaking, with what i see that you have, a 3.70" pulley is going to be about right with a D-1SC for a 6200 to 6500 rpm range. Bob
