My son-in-law is trading in his '05 Sierra, and taking off the Powerdyne 6psi SC. He thinks it'll work on my H/C '02 ZO6, and he's willing to sell for 1k. A. will it work? B. is this cheap enough to try. I've already got 450/428, not counting the FAST 90 I just am installing this weekend, so will the PD unit be able to boost an already non-stock motor?

I never saw a powerdyne make more than 450rwhp (maxed out at 9psi with million broken internal belts) so I dont know if its going to make anything more over what you have now with 6psi. It might be a restriction on your engine. It would be interesting to see the results in your case.

i had one On my 97 LT1 SS
I broke the internal belt about 4 times when i switched to a smaller 8-9 PSI pulley
But i do know on a stock LS1 F-body at 6-7 PSI they work pretty good.
I have seem a car run high 11's at 116 , with the powerdyne and exhaust + headers , tune and upgraded fuel system,
but for your car the Procharger D1-sc is the only way to go supercharger FI.
I have a D1-sc on my 01 SS and am very happy with it , It was a good choise for me

I really hadn't planned on SC'ing the car, This just came up, and it's so cheap, that I thought I might try it. Of course if I was serious about going FI, I'd go another route.

Well , the power dyne will work well at 5-6 pounds of boost , dont pulliy it up any more than that , and it will alsio make some good power even with no intercooler.
but you will most likly have the replace the internal belt 1-2 times a year ,
go for it , you cant beat the price, good luck
