Procharger kit for ls1 fbody with ls2 engine?
 

The title pretty much says it... i have an 2000 trans am ws6 and its out with the LS1 in with the procharged 427 LS2... so i need to get a procharger but i need ideas on what kit... i really want a D1SC but they dont make one for the LS2 block... and then i would still need the LS1 piping for the car.... AAAAA

Any help would be great guys.

I could be wrong but isn't the LS2 6litre the same as an Iron block litre.Other than one being steel and the other being alluminum. If so then it should fit. I am putting the F1r on mine. It fit's. On the steel block I have to drill and tap one hole where the bracket mount's. But everybody doe's that and has no problem's. i don't see why it would not work on your's :drive:

If you go over 400cid you need to go with at least F1 blower. I would honestly do F1-A if you dont feel like doing alot of custom work. In my case im going with F1-C, but that does require some cutting, etc...

The f1c or f1r would go great with it. You can either cut the lower radiator support or move the radiator frward some. :drive:

you dont "need" to go with an F1 but it would be wise, there are plenty of 400+ci motors with D1's...make sure you do the 8rib set up because i see belt slip being a problem if you dont, good luck

Add $450.00 to the above price to upgrade the D-1SC into an F1A.

Now on top of this you're going to need a minimum of an additional GSS340 fuel pump, this depends on how much boost you're planning on running. Past 600 rwhp, I would recommend a complete new fuel system. You can retain the stock fuel tank, but add new lines, larger pump, add a return line, like we did on this car.

is there a radiator fan that comes with the kits?? the thin one?
is it absolutely necassary to move the radiator foward if you upgraded to an F1 unit??? i want to retain my A/C so the condensor is still there.
