I have my buddy's V to tune it and I have a question

what do your iat's look like in traffic?

stop and go today, 60 degrees outside and iat's were 151!!!

thats insane in my book for a IC'd blower.

is this normal?

not normal...i usually run 20-30 deg over outside temp...im only up to 145 or so after a full wide open 1/4 mile pass...is there plenty of air getting to the ic and is it circulating...what size pulley does it have on it...

in the summer when its about 90 out down here I would run 140-150 in regular traffic and on the hwy it would still be around 120

winter time I would always be 100-120 on the hwy maybe it would dip under 100

i believe it's the pulley that makes 7lbs on a stock motor

iat's are never below 120 for the most part on this bugger.

on the goat is the IAT in the manifold as well? on the V it is so we were thinking maybe thats why it reads so high comparatively.

yeah its on the back side of the maggie, yeah I forgot to mention that as well your gonna be much higher but at least its a true IAT of whats happening inside the blower

At idle mine is high (160F on hot days, in traffic), but it drops down almost immediately to 120-130 as soon as the throttle opens more than 75%. I don't really care about IAT's sitting in traffic at idle with the t-body closed.

Mine are typically 30 degrees over ambiant....

During a WOT run they increase to about 50 over but then eventually stabalize back to 30 over
