At first the FP was at about 63psi, and the injectors were maxed out and it was going lean at high rpms. The tuner then raised the FP to about 71psi and then he could richen it up.

It was a complete fuel system, with a external Magnafuel 4303 pump, braided lines, and boost referenced Magnafuel regulator.

I think it's due to the torque multiplication of a large unlocker torque converter.

Occasionally you'll see n/a 346ci's making 500lb ft at under 3000rpm, but again this is because they usually have a 4400rpm stall or equiverlent, there's quite a few examples in the dyno forum.

You'll see most dyno's for high powered auto's usually start out at 3500rpm, I think it's partly to aviod this.

If you had an auto in you Terminator it would also show up some spurious torque figures down low.

The car was tuned at Nile's shop, but not by Niles. I had my tuner meet me there. Yea it was on pump gas.
Anyone know the part number for plugs that are 1 range colder than the TR6's?

Thats exactly what it is, typical procharged car will make its peak torque much higher.

Dynojet sort of fixed the RPM being off and the big torque spike with large stalled autos with winPEP 7, I have no idea how they handle it on a mustang dyno.

Numbers look strong, dont worry about the dyno on a high stalled auto, get what you can out of it and run the car at the track. Since you have a TH400 I assume thats what you want to do with it. Leave the dyno racing to M6s and autos that can lock the converter

Jimmy you live around Chicago?

Like kp is saying, unlocked auto's are hard to dyno and you are not going to have anything to brag about on the web compared to the M6 guys. I'd say you have enough figured out that you should just be making some hits on the street and seeing what falls off, and then at some point waiting for the tracks to open.

I live in the N. side of Chicago. I do understand that it wont be a dyno queen. Have to get some slicks and hit up the tracks when its warmer.

those are awesome numbers, a 402 with a D1 and 6.0 heads is what I was wanting to eventually build once i am out of college, what kind compression ratio did you build that motor at?

you dyno looks almost like mine... my HP peaked at ~5700rpms at 572rwhp.. we had to start our pull at about 4k though since my converter was flashing sooo high....

i drove mine yesterday.... i can be doing 60mph and be in high gear and stuff the pedal and the nose comes up like a boat while its frying the tires and will hold like that till i let off....

very fun stuff....
