M6=more fun than auto?
roll racing: TH400
There is nothing like maintaining 100% boost between shifts like an auto does. I have a turbo M6 and will be installing my TH400 in a week or two.
One of my buddies (member tondss/Mr_president) has a turbo TH400 and he grabs a solid car length or two every time I shift. That split second of spool time after an M6 shift can lose the race.
Also, whoever is complaining about shift points and whatnot in an auto needs to research a Reverse manual valve body.
And for the 10th time, you will get sick of replacing clutches.
Just to warn everyone, stay away from spec, they make **** clutches.My car really is a lot better with the TH400 though, drives much nicer and is much faster (stop or roll). I didn't think i'd like the auto, now I'm in love with it, best mod to a turbo car ever. Driving a RMVB th400 on the street is just awesome. Everyone who rides with me thinks the way it shifts is cool.

Who says you have to let off the gas to shift?
I have driven one auto car with a decent anount of power and I have to say they are pretty fun(and I didn't even get to open it up), but on the other side there is nothing like banging grears if you now how to do it right.
To me it seems if you have to ask then you should just keep the auto.

Apart from 1 initial hiccup, Ive never had any clutch or gearbox issues. Its worked perfectly pretty much from day one, although I will be upgrading the box soon, just for strength.
My daily driver Volvo diesel estate is an auto, its great too...... Performance cars should never be automatic though, unless you do have hand-leg co-ordination problems
