Just for comparison purposes, I suggest you visit a dyno dynamics shop when you get a chance..it will hold that car at a given rpm far better,,,, not to say a dynojet can still be used sucessfully.

Congrats dude... I can't believe you were limited to a 10 psi run because of a stupid belt.

Our set-ups are similar, so I'll let you know what a 15 psi run will make later this week.

Nope... My clutch master cylinder had been giving me some problems before I took my car up to Tampa. It crapped out on them this week. If you leave the clutch in for a minute, it begins to engage itself (fluid is pushing past seals).

Car's getting dyno'd tomorrow or Friday... But, as been shown before... ANYTHING bad can happen with these turbo set-ups.

bboy, you ought to do a little better than me, I'm still running a MAF tune. The MAF is pegged; dead blind by about 8-9 psi, so from that point, the car has to be given enough fuel for where it will be at the 15.5 psi I run on the street. Seeing as how I only end up at about 10.2~10.3:1 at 15.5 psi, the run up from 8-9psi is off the chart FAT at 9.9:1. Also, I'm sure that the timing can safely be run in the 18-20deg range up top, but with no knock sensors I'm not going to try to get greedy. My timing topped out conservatively (for a low CR engine) at 17deg.

I'm in the process of getting my **** together to do a 3-bar tune with HPT.

True, but unlike you, I am on a 2-bar Map Sensor and I will TOP OUT at 15 psi on pump... I plan to go no higher than that.

You, on the other hand, are gonna break damn near 1k hp playing around with race gas, 3-bar tune, etc... That's gonna be INSANE... Mine's just gonna be a tame 700+ rwhp street car to cruise around drive-thru restaurants in.

Next time just warm up the Turbo more before the run, then bring it to 3000rpm hit the dyno brake, floor it and let off the brake. No problem for us to spool on a non-load dyno.

Their dyno brake was malfunctioning; took FOREVER to spin down. He had to set the brake like 10 times....
