STS oil pump resistor failed!!!!
STS oil pump resistor failed!!!! Tonight my oil pump resistor failed (F*CK, F*CK, F*CK). So, what exactly does it do? Is it really needed or can I just bypass it?
I have also been having issues lately with the alarm going off at high RPM, so I guess I need to upgrade the POS pump provided with their kit.

Please dont be so quick to blame the kit when the installer is more than likely at fault.
Killrvet, bypassing the resistor will make the pump run on high all the time, which is not that big of a deal. I'm sure Dave will send you out a new resistor.
