hes just saying that what you are trying to do is not easy. it takes a little bit of work and im sure its not over yet. i would go with braided line

I'm saying it like that for comedic value Seriously though, such a minor clearance issue is not a problem, just something you'd take 2 minutes to take care of. You want to talk clearance issues? You should see what I had to do to make the Raymer/Stainless Works kit fit

im not worried about the cleareance i can fix that, what REALLY bothered me was i was under teh impression no one else had this problem with their kit, as in i have a major problem with mine, thast y i asked! also the real fun starts when i have to tap the front of the oil pan!

That's the thing with kits like these - no two fit exactly the same. Its quite possible you'd be one of the few or even the only one to have an issue in that area, while others may have problems elsewhere. I've seen engines sit in the engine bay a full 1" different from car to car!

Don't fret tapping the pan, its not that bad. Just take it slow and be careful. If possible, do it off the car so you can flush out the shavings.
