Hoses I am in the process of installing a larger mass air flow sensor and ran across a problem between the metal air box and the sensor. My problem is that the sensor is bigger than the other end where the hose bolts onto the air box. I am looking for a reducer that is a 3 1/2 to 4". I have found a couple of places that makes them but they are only 3" long. I am going to need a 6" long piece. I also noted that they are silicone. What is on there now is a rubber type hose that has the string in it (I juess that you would call it reinforced hose) because the metal air box is an oval shape.
Does anyone know where i can find something that will fit my application? Perferably the reinforced rubber hose.
