Front mount intercooler dimensions on an LT1 Camaro

Front mount intercooler dimensions on an LT1 Camaro I have found an intercooler with the following dimensions...
Dimensions - 23" wide (31" with endtanks), 11.75" tall, 3" thick
Have any of you installed an intercooler of this size in a LT1 equipped '93 thru '97 Z28 without hacking up (or minimal hacking up) of the nose area of the car?
