A couple methanol questions

I have a couple questions about using meth injection with a turbo.

First, is there any risk in meth injection with a low LSA cam (like a 112 LSA)? Reason I ask is I know occasionally an intake blows up from fuel in the intake (when using nitrous). I have heard theories that the lower LSA cams increase this explosion risk.

Second question is does methanol injection richen the a/f mixture?

Yes. I had my car tuned to run with or without meth. AFR is about 12 without it, and when turned on at its lowest setting, it averages about 11.2. Still a 25 horsepower increase with the meth on due to cooler air.
