402 with D1 making almost 900rwhp??

Well, I know a guy named Sam that had a 408 and an F1 with 100 shot that made like 900 rwhp through an auto, but obviously an F1 flows much more then a D1...

You could make 900 RWHP with a D1 and spray. I made 757 on straight 93 octane, and haven't maxed the blower yet. I think we could hit 800 RWHP on pump gas/meth with the D1SC, this is through an A4 and 12 bolt BTW. With a 100 shot I think my car would come close to 900 RWHP now. I have the bottle, but not the *****.......

Good ol' Saudi Sam. I just talked to him a few days ago. He actually made 850 through the 6 speed and 800 through the TH400, but his tune was not as agressive as it could have been.

I'm asking because not everyone tells the truth about their mods... One person on this thread already has made 900 on a D-1 with nitrous so then it's possible he's hiding a bottle...

He's full of it and is exaggerating.

You originally posted "almost 900 rwhp." Now that I think of it, that's pretty vague. Whether his words or yours, say, 800 rwhp can presumably be thought of as "almost 900 rwhp" too, not necessarily 899 rwhp... Maybe?

I would assume it was 880+rwhp or so, just somewhere in the upper 800's...

Lol, trust me, I agree with you 100%. It just seems everytime Ive tried to race, either his **** was blown up or so was mine.

I was just curious as to what the levels of the D1 were capable of.

its all about traction air your tires way down and heat the **** out of them and your torque will put him in the rearview real fast no matter how much power he is making. Its turbo vs blower your power will come on sooner and he will never be able to catch back up for the lead.
You will be at max boost before he is even 60% of full boost.

yes Sam did 847rwhp and 890twtq with 408 f1 and 150 shot but not sure how much boost .
like everyone else said race him and make sure you post a vid of all the run

So what if he does? Don't you make more? It will be a traction race, who ever hooks will win! If either one of you are making near 900 rwhp you will never get traction on the street. I will still spin the tires at 50+ on a concrete hwy. That's with slicks @ 18psi.
