hot side pipe diameter ? quick spool/vs/power
hot side pipe diameter ? quick spool/vs/power i am just wanting to get some feedback on piping diameter from header to turbo. i have a large turbo setup and was using 2 1/2 pipe to the turbo, but would take forever to spool. so my question is would it spool alot better with 2" or even 2 3/4" pipe before the turbo without too much restriction? im sticking with stock displacement on my 94 lt1 motor and plan on getting a decent turbo cam to help with the lag issue. any help would be appreciated.

1. What kind of turbo is it?
2. What size wheels?
3. What flange (T4 or T6)?
4. What wxhaust A/R?
5. Where is the turbo mounted?
6. Is your pipes coated or wrapped?
I don't think going to a smaller crossover diameter is the answer.

I Know This Sucker Is Huge But Would Like To Make The Best Of It. Till I Can Afford A Nice Smaller One. Not Really Interested In Trying To Find Out About Another Exhaust Housing
