Cam/Power Question
Hey guys, I've asked this once before, but I can't find the thread since search is down
I have the MS3 cam, spec's are: Magic Stick V.3 237/242 .603/.609"
LSA 112 is standard but for some reason I'm thinking I might have the 113...I'll have to dig up my cam card
I'm looking to add a turbo...or two this summer. shoot for 700-800rwhp
I'm wondering if I should change this cam, or leave it in since it'll scream uptop?
Also, any idea how much boost I'll have to run to get the numbers I want?
Thanks guys

On the cam you mention, if you have the 112LSA, you have an overlap of 15.5 degrees.
With the 113, that would knock down the OL to 13.5 degrees.
That's more overlap than most people would recommend, but I think you're right - it would be a screamer up top...
Depends what you want out of the car...
My guess on the boost for 700-800rwhp would be in the 12-14 range.

I think most people will tell you to get rid of that big cam... i went from a cam with 11* of overlap to one with negative overlap... I'm not positive, but if i recall correctly, i read somewhere once that keeping the overlap to 5* or less is best for FI
