The guy that is doing my engine told me there's no "no f****** chance in hell" that my car is going to be able to hit 500rwhp @ 5 psi. I guess he's never met any of you guys.

I talked to Dustin yesterday. He definitely seems up on his ****. Left me w/ one question. Boost controller or ditch it for a set level. hmm.

Impressive numbers by the way.

Thanks fellas. I'm pretty sure the FMIC has everything to do with my numbers. My IAT never got above 100 and that was after many hard runs. Dustin said that with cars at 5psi w/ out the FMIC, they see temps up over 125 after standing on it awhile...then timing starts to get retarded and you lose power.

Wrapping my exhaust and the 7+psi spring will be my next "mods." They're right about the turbo lag...it's freaking pathetic! Once it kicks in though...holy shiznit!

I was pleasantly surprised by how nice and knowledgeable the guys at TRT were. they were cool about everything and stayed late to finish the tune.


I would defiantly give them 2 thumbs way up.

you dont need much to get an STS car to 500rwhp, i got a broken clutch and the 500rwhp

If I dont make 500rw Ill be really unhappy with the sts.. Im already making 430 n/a with heads and cam

Im definetly planning on using a boost controller. I want to be able to use lower 6-7 and and higher 10+ psi..

I really dont have horsepower goals since they dont mean to much.. I just want to run mid to low 10's which seems to be a hard task from what most people have said.

I assume that I will need higher 600 range. Im assuming that the big issue is getting the turbo to spool even with wrapping the exhaust I dont know if its working out so well for most people. I think I have that issue figured out though..

making the 500rwhp "should'nt" be a problem, but hopefully your heads and cam will be useful for a boosted set up. you will also need pistons if you decide to make the 10+ psi. most people only make that kinda boost either with pistons or on the meth

mid to low 10's shouldnt be that hard with an AUTO. i believe ZOMBIE on here is there, but he has a TH400, and he doesnt really care about the rwhp, he makes less than me and he would run circles around me @ the track

longrange4u made 607rwhp before he blew a head gasket or #7...... either one. but his best with an M6 was 11.01 and i forgot the trap
