dont use it on a blower car. you need a procharger or vortech bypass.

Im using 2 x Greddy Type RS BOV's

As long as they dump air when you close the throttle, ANY BOV can be used, as long as it can flow sufficient quantity of air, and spring tension used is suitable for the application.

Sound from mine isnt really that noticeable most of the time. They do whistle slightly at part throttle and idle sometimes, which is a little annoying.

Havent a clue....

well i guess once the motor is all together and running and the sound isn't what i want then maybe i will get a Vortech BOV instead. Greddy sure sound good on WRX's and tuners like that. but are motors and exhaust are so loud so it drowns out sound also.

Is your car a manual transmission? Do they vent when you downshift? Reason i dont reccomend using a BOV is:

1. they arent open at idle, which sometimes can attribute to surging at idle.
2. theyre not open when downshifting, which can cause strain on the blower forcing air against a closed throttle plate
3. They chirp at part throttle sometimes.

Yes its manual, and yes they work exactly as they should.

If you adjust them, they can be open at idle. Although if you have an airflow meter, you dont necessarily want them open at idle.

Again, that depends how they are set.

If they "chirp" at part throttle, then they are either close ( read setup wrong ) or they do not flow sufficient air.

One BOV was insufficient for my car, hence I run 2. I have 1 internal spring removed, and the adjuster quite slack, but not fully slackened off.
