First time i've ever seen the AMS 1000.... looks good but way to expensive ($850), don't know if you really need all that adjustment in a street car..... save your money and get a Forge Manual Boost controller, simple set it and forget it installation and uses a "clicking" **** so no nned to guess how far to turn it...... if you want an electronic get an E-boost2

never had any problem on mine when it was on my evo..... worked at 35psi

i got the innovative... and i love it, especially for the street....with 5 or 6 stages you can step it up as you increase speed....much less wheel spinning. also it acts as a in car boost gauge.

I have the Innivative Boost controller on my drag Radial car. Works great. Easy to program. A lot user friendly than the E-boost,plus you can set boost ranges on each gear as well as time and ramp.
But if this is not going to be full race; I would agree with the mannual controler for ease of use and accuracy.

The AMS 1000 is the best on the market. They also have great tech support.

Good Luck

No one is doubting that, i'm just thinking an $800 boost controller ir overkill for a streetcar.

Kinda like getting Jessel Y2k shaftmounts for a bolt-on 346
