sts guys, how much oil do you use? i'm gonna be changing the oil when i replace my tranny, so i was wondering how much oil have you used to fill her up. I used 6 qts of mobile 1 fully synthetic last change, and my oil change light still comes on every once in awhile, so should i move it up to 7 qts?
Oil CHANGE light has nothing to do with how much oil is IN the car. There is very little oil in the actual oiling system on the STS. My truck took 6 quarts when it was stock, and it takes 6 quarts now with the STS.
