well the lift on the one i want with 1.6rr is 536/555 . they also have a 224/230 that might be good. thing is the 224/236 is a blower cam. i don't want something real rough on the idle. i want a cam to work with the blower and to give some power and also act close to normal as the stock cam. what i'm tring to say is i just don't want it to idle very low and sound like its going to stall out.

224/230 on a 115 here. Starts good, idles good, has a chop to let you know there's a cam in there.

Some common off the shelf LT1 "blower" grinds are:

218/224
218/230
224/236

You could always have a custom ground cam spec'd for your combo.

i just no nothing bout cams. like i said above just want to find something that will make me some nice power and also not have a heavy chop to the idle like its going to stall out. kinda worried the 224/236 might be to aggressive for me. maybe the 224/230 would be what i'm looking for? just sucks what if the 224/236 isn't that chopy to me and i go with the smaller cam . its hard to tell from other guys setups hearing there since we have all different motor or setups, exhaust etc..

Realquick what was the reason you picked the 224/230

I used a 230/236 for my N/A setup. If you want a mild idle and still provides good power, the 218/230 cam would be a good choice... even a cc305 (220/230 114LSA).

we just put a 244/248, .612/.615 on a 114+4 LSA in my friends 2000 SS with stock heads/internals other than the new cam & blower. It's an experiment so I'll post up after he gets it tuned and some good dyno runs.
