Default TT pipes back from the coater.

Originally was a Speed Inc one piece y pipe. Great work by Jim Moran.

I sectioned it into 3 pieces with V bands plus added a cutout. Now it's twin 2.75 pipes going into a 3.50 single and out a 3.50 electric cutout......or through a 3.0 to a Borla with SLP tips.

Then had it coated with the special sauce....

Time to get to work

Thanks Jeff. With that monster that you built, you know these things take some time and effort.

I had Bell build me a vertical flow IC with a 4.5" thick by 10" tall by 30" wide core....now add the endtanks and it took some fabbing to mate it to the Speed Inc kit....and to get it mounted under the fascia

I did'nt know that you've switched from Incon's to SpeedInc's. Is it a complete kit or are you kind of combining them? co'z it looks like you're using the Incon's pressure side hoses. That's very nice! Can you share the specs on your turbo's? is it a 61 or 67mm compressor wheel? BB? E or S cover? is it a .63ar turbine? I'm assuming that they're bigger(cfm) than the Incon units? sorry for all these questions. btw, that's some bling, bling you'll have under your car!

There is a BIG TIME coating company that is local to me. They coated my hot parts. They have fancy cerama-krome coating that looks very similar to the exhaust in this thread.

Unfortunately it doesn't stand up to the extreme temperatures on turbo cars that the high-temp black does.

2000 for the black and 1400 for the silver. I've never had a problem with past turbos and the silver 1400 as long as it was after the turbo.

It's a Johnny Cash kit...

Speed Inc (Jim Moran) is the heart of the kit with his custom built manifolds. I modified his down pipes as shown in the pic...but that's just me...his one piece is fine.

My custom built IC, I fabbed the pressure pipes from Incon and RacePartSolution pieces. I fabbed one cold side pipe and used 1/2 of Jim's cold side pipe....again Jim's stuff is great...I just made some stuff my way to mate my custom IC, etc..

GT35R turbos. 60lb/min. TO4E covers BB

Incon sytem is great BTW...ran 9.9 at 141mph with 44lb/min turbos and 3800lb raceweight....

I'm not going to push this system....added a custom interior that added about 50 more lbs to the car and needed a little extra power to offset it.

1st id like to say AWESOME SETUP.

2nd thing is the black isnt really any diff.
I do Ceramic coatings and thermal coatings also and the Black is a basecoat of the same silver just with a top coat of black.

I use Turbo X and have done numerous turbo housings and suck with NO problem.
guys been running these for 3-4years now and says they look good as day 1

BTW thats my wifes SMIR.ICE so lay off...lol

MOD EDIT *please no direct links to a nonsponsored site*

Different stuff I am talking about. It is patented and not the same as other "silver" coatings. They invented this particular formula in-house.

Believe me, the folks I am talking about are VERY experienced. I initially wanted the chrome stuff but they talked me out of it. They also charge a little more for the cerama-krome, so I'm sure if it held up the same hey would have sold me on it.

What Company is it? Either way IF it is some SPECIAL silver/Black that cost more thats cool. Id like to know what it is.

Ive never had anything Ive done in silver on turbo stuff burn off etc. :knockonwood: Im not sayin they don't have a good product or anything just lettin ya know the "other silver" stuff is just fine in the turbo world too...

It looks like pure chrome....not silver.
