Default which kits better (Turbo)

I did some search's but couldnt kind the right answer.
Here it goes what do you guys think is a all around better kit

Incon Twin Turbo (stage 1 or 2 )
Speed Inc Custom Twin Turbo (GT35R or PT67)
Speed Inc Eliminator Turbo (GT76R)
OFI Single Turbo Kit (T76GTS)
TTi Single Turbo (T76)
PTK Single (MPT70)

I know Im forgetting something.
I know all the turbo kits make alot of power and all cost alot... so thats not really a issue. Im looking more for which kits going to be more of a pain in the *** to get to other things when Im doing general maintaince or other stuff. Which kit should I stay away from.. etc.

any help would be great.. I really want a Incon TT kit but everyone tells me they are a pain in the *** to get to things on the engine and so forth.

For someone to give you a full rundown on all those kits will take quite a bit of writing. The best step towards deciding a kit is searching your eyes off for days and days. If your gonna spend over $5000 on a turbo then its worth every penny to know these kits (or at least the one you buy) inside and out. Nobody can pop in here and tell you what you want in a paragraph. Youll be able to decide for yourself. Just start at the top and work your way down that list. Goodluck and enjoy the world of FI. If you consider a rear mount them PM me and i can get you started.

I own a PTK kit. I was the first one to get it on a car. It is a decent kit. However, there are far better kits out there! I would NOT buy a PTK kit if I were you.

Just my opinion,
Glenn

as far as the incon, i know they are out of buisness, but I know some members on this board that told me they might sell theres sometime in the future so I know I might be able to get one.
My goals are easy.... 600-800.... I know I must do support mods ie built internals,fuel,rearend,suspension,tranny.. etc.
And I know all these kits are capable of the HP level I want and as far as what I want from the car. More of a weekend driver.. maybe a little DD. the strip every now and then. But my major thing is of course street racing even though I cant at the moment due to my job but once I get out then Ill be able to again. I want something I can have fun with.

So far it sounds like
TTi
Speed Inc
Incon are my top 3.
How do you like your TTi?? does it take up a lot of room under the hood??

I'll search more about tti, and speed inc kits.

thanks for the help guys.

Speed inc makes a sweet twin in kit form where you don't move anything or lose anything. Theres a good thread about it here somewhere. Isn't TTi coming out with a new race kit too?

I'm sure your kit is nice, but no sense in taking jabs at other manufactures. I'm sure you wouldn't want other manufactures taking jabs at you.

Guys, PTK is a dirty word around here for apparently good reasons, but I know very well why they held a unique place... When I bought a turbo kit, they undisputably WERE the only front-mount single turbo kits that achieved ALL of these items (Around the Phamspeed/Hi-Flo days):

1. Used tubular headers (no log)

2. Ran the dp over the K-member

3. Kept A/C intact, no movement of radiator necessary, no interfering w/ foglights etc.

4. Could be used in a lowered car

Now, what other FM single turbo does all of this at the same time... Only the OFI, but they are just out now.

TTi Street: Uses a log, no good IMO for getting to the 700-900 rwhp range.
TTI Race: Incredible! The most proven kit, probably, but loses A/C.

OFI single looks like it does all of these, I assume? I really don't know. PTS is the kit for me, and I have no complaints... Great for a stock cubed motor + T4 turbos for a street car (lowered, A/C, no front-hacking, etc.)

Now for the Twins. Incon TT, one of the most amazingly fitting TT kits into an F-body... It's achilles heel is you run out of turbos quick (T25 flanges?).

APS TT Looks good? Anyone running one yet (F-body)?

Speed INc TT you can't go wrong, no way no how... Proven right now that's for sure.

If I were in the market for a turbo kit I would wait for the APS kit. You get the cast manifolds (like Incon) but also have support from what looks like a viable company.

.
I use log manifolds on my twin turbo kit and made 800rwhp (GMR Speed)
only downfall is removing ac but I have a way to keep that now

Twin logs to me and a SINGLE log on one side are two TOTALLY different things...

What you have is awesome. I was referring to a single turbo kit that uses a log.

I thought the GMR twins kept A/C as a standard?
