"pissed veloci raptor " is a good description of what my vortech race by-pass sounds like as well, pretty nasty and thats just at idle. I posted a vid of it in another thread.

I have the Mondo BOV and its kind of hard to hear over the massive F1 blower and exhaust. Here are a couple of vids though for reference.
