How much power are you going to make with the 347 that's in there now? I was worried about the stock ls1 block not holding much power but you should prove that wrong...

Holy huge turbo, Batman! That thing is fuggin' wild...

QUESTION: Don't you think a 106 is a bit big for a 347???

Either way, badass build!

I believe he clearly stated

"This is just a "get it running" engine to be replaced with a Warhawk later on."

Please no flames, just trying to help. I know how it goes. Your eyes see that big O hairdryer and forget what they just read !!!!

He's right. A Warhawk is on the way. This is just the play motor for now. The headers and turbo are being built for the real motor so it will be a simple motor swap down the road.

Can this new Warhawk motor keep up with a SB2.2 headed set-up..we will see

Saweeet!

Guess we'll get to see the limits of the stock block/crank with upgraded rods/pistons very shortly again. I don't recall one (crank/block) that has failed yet even at 1000rwhp+.

I think heads with thicker deck would've been better... but I do realize this is simply to get the setup running in there and "tested."

I assume there is no hood interference?

This car has had a turbocharged 355 small block in it for almost ten years, and the stock "pink" rods held up to over 600 RWHP at the tires on pump gas through a TH400. I expect this one to make at least that before the heads lift

Nice looking setup can't wait to see it when it's done. Who is going to do the tuning for you?

I would talk to Cal Hartline he is the man when it comes to turbo motors. He has a 8 second GN that he drives on the street and does ALOT of tuning for people he knows his stuff. He is over in Melbourne not far from you.
