e85 instead of methanol injection

e85 instead of methanol injection Has anyone done this? Or ever tried putting e85 into their methanol injection tank and had good results? Do the properties of e85 allow this or is it a dumb idea. Any feedback is appreciated. I have a buddy wanting to inquire about this for his turbo m3 and also would like to know myself for future reference on my own car. Thanks, Josh

Well... It can be done... But it's going to require a beefy fuel setup. You're a lot better off just spraying meth.
The reason for the beefy fuel setup is because E85 doesn't produce as much energy as regular gasoline.

e85 Thanks for the compliment. I understand that e85 doesnt produce the same heat, but doesnt it have similiar properties of methanol and could it be used in the injection tank? I am not wanting to run the car on strait e85 and I know that the fuel system would have to be upgraded but what about injecting it? Thanks for any help, Josh
