What size pulley is on it? Just to confirm, it's the V-9 blower right?
Also, is your belt tight enough so that you have a hard time turning the longest length of it 90 degrees? If not, it's not tight enough. When I first put my Vortech on, I tightened the belt to what I thought it should be, and only got like 4#. Then they told me here what it should be like - I was sort of amazed - but when I tightened it up, boom 7.5#! And a lot less rubber dust, too.
