well i found an 01 ws6 - 12k miles for sale from my dealer.. built trans etc.. very reputable guy.. got it from some rich older guy.. that had it professionally installed.. procharged d1sc - 5 psi.. dealers asking 23k out the door. the car is mint.. how safe is 5 psi... id like the car to last me at least a few years before i drop a new motor.. this will be a daily driven car.. 365/7 a year..

Yes, 5 psi is on the low side. I would have the tune checked to make sure it is safe, and you should be good to go for many, many years.
Check out my '99 Z28 that had 110,000 miles on it when we installed an ATI ProCharger D-1SC.
