I don't recall ever having an erection just by the sound of a turbo, but there is a first time for everything.

Good info. I'm actually really curious about compression ratio, rotating assembly weights, flywheel material and weight, things like that. I'm just amazed at how fast that thing spins up even before the boost is helping it.

For real, that thing sounded like something foreign the way it revved. Never have I ever heard such a big small block rev like that

I've heard them rev fast but it's usually 13:1+ no weight rotating assembly used an an NA engine. I'm guessing he's running something near 10:1 compression, aluminum rods and a light weight crank with a lot of bore and less stroke. Could be wrong as I've never built a 6 second engine but I would sure love to know more .

It's 10:1, JE custom pistons, it has oliver titaninm rods 6" and a Callies lightwieght crank to the sum of I believe 4.125 stroke The clutch is made by Bonafonte Its a triple disc clutch the material I don't know about except the clutchs are cindered discs, I don't know any of the weights off the top of my head when I have some time I'll get them. Dont forget guys this is a small block they rev. But we are only reving to 8200 and leaaving the line at somewhere around 5000. Some other info is we leave on between 13 & 20 lbs of boost depending on the track. When we launch we go into prestage and bring the RPM up to get the turbo spinning alittle, then in stage, We run the timing at around 0 degrees to get rawl fuel in the pipes to explode and spin the turbo. We can and have gained 25 lbs of boost in 6 tenths of a sec. If any of you guys are near Cecil County Dragway this weekend come check us out we'll be there Sat. & Sun. Hope this helped some any more ? If I can answer I'll be glad to.
