Did your Procharger change in sound as it broke in?
I have a D1SC on my 408, its got maybe 200-300 miles on it now, and I noticed the whine is getting louder now as it gets some miles on it. I have already changed the oil in it (I know ATI says 500 miles, but my builder said it was fine to change it, it takes me a long time to put miles on the car), and its not like it sounds broken or anything. I checked the oil and its full and very clean. It does occasionally bubble some oil out of the fill plug, which ATI says is its vent. I installed a new gasket already, and its tight. The only time I have noticed it bubbling oil is after a long drive, like last night I drove to a cruise in about 25 miles away (mostly highway, 2000 rpms), and it left a small puddle and you could see air pressure bubbling some oil around the fill plug.
Just wondering if its normal?

They build up a fair amount of pressure whe they get hot and if you loosen the fill plug/dipstick it will bubble. If its leaking from around the dipstick then make sure the gasket on there didnt get damaged. After a hard day at the track I'll get a drop forming on the buttom of the blower but I have never seen a drop hit the ground.
Also if the vent hose is hooked to the blower inlet it will drip oil from there, but thats engine oil not blower oil. Best way to change it is to take the blower off, get all the oil you can out with it off the car and then pour one full bottle in.

Its not overfilled, so that sucks. I put some good pressure on that dipstick screw, I don't know how tight they want it but I used a new gasket and put some stank on it. I do occasionally get some engine oil from the breather tube thing, maybe a drop every once in awhile.
I changed the oil by removing the headunit and draining it in various positions to get all the old oil out. Then I put one bottle in, like they said to.
Fix one problem, something else happens.....

Yeah, I took it out again and noticed one side of it was kinda rough, so I flipped it so the smooth side was on the blower and not the screw. It was still OK on fluid, but I like to run everything as full as possible (within manufacturers recommendations of course) so I dumped a little in to get it back up closer to "max" on the stick.
I need a couple more gaskets, since this was my ATI supplied spare. I lost the original on the first oil change. Might as well get some more oil too.
