Default D1sc on a 427??

Looking at getting a Katech 427 with heads and cam. On my current car i already have a D1sc making 8psi on a 346. Well a D1sc work on a 427. Also what is a Ptrim SC?? What would be the best SC to use on there 427??

a few people have had D1sc's on there 422-427s
it depends alot on how much HP your after

I personally would use at least an F1 or better... I think that using a D1SC on a 427 would be like trying to sink a ship with a slingshot... How much power are you looking for??? Is this for street or strip?? There are plenty of guys making 750rwhp+ with stock cubes and a D1SC... Are your goals more than that??

A D1SC flows 1450 cfm so it's not really too bad. I would guess you might get up to 12 lbs. boost which ain't bad on a 427. I had a g-trim Vortech on a 418 briefly and only got 5 lbs. with a 2.75" pulley (800cfm blower).
