Seriously guys, if you were sitting at a bar and and you asked someone what time it was and they replied, 'dunno but your girlfriend is ugly, mine is better looking' there would probably be a fight. Guy asked a question about his blower, not which was better so keep it on topic..

I think its safe to say neither is "better".

Any of the big 3, Paxton, Vortech and Procharger will all have the ability to give impresive results.

More important is who is tuning it, and the combination of parts used with the blower, and of course the blower drive.

Here some info for you. I put my old g trim kit on a 2001 camaro. 8 psi,Mototron 60 # injectors, walbro intank and a tune. Thru the 4l60 and yank 3400 stall 500 rwhp. Id say it runs rather well. Problem is the guy that bought it doesnt go to the track. So I dont have any times. Of course the car had true duals and headers running a tr6 plug gapped @ .032

I am really sorry about the Call Bob at EPP comment
I talked to him so much on my d1 unit I just forgot he is the procharger guy.
So sorry wasn't trying to be funny.
I bought my Vortech from Tbyrne it was one of the first ls1 kits.
with not many mods we did low 11s.
with a converter slicks skinnys headers we did 10s.
This was with the sq head units.

The car has Hooker LT headers,BBK 80mmTB,LQ9 heads and a split duration cam. The cam was ment to be NA but seemed to work out for him. I think it's a 228/230 596/610 on a 114. It would have put down better numbers but the trans was slipping and the stock converter didn't help any. It's a daily driver and I don't think it will ever see the track. It's kind of a waste cause since I did the H&C last year and had it tuned for him it has sat because when you get on it the tranny slips and hits the rev-limiter and he is putting off getting a tranny so the car has sat since it rolled off the dyno

We have seen these cars run... very impressive times. I think these cars were done before there was even a forced induction section on this forum

Procharger d1sc 100% stock car on 8 lbs of boost and 95F in the shop my buddie made over 700rwhp. My other buddie also made 800rwhp with the d1sc no even on the car. I got buddies that made over 1000rwhp just by looking at a procharger. And 8lbs of boost.

I can play that game too. lol I love that my buddie games. The fack is that prochargers are far better then other SCs. Look up the air flow ect its just a better SC.

O and teack time is cool and all but i would say your HP# have a whole lot more to do with things . A nice soft car can cun good times. I would like to see people start posting #s about road corses. Drag times can be helped alot by just slicks and air bags,

The only thing bad about the vortech kit in my mind is that it should have come from vortech with a t-trim or a ysi at the start, then we wouldnt have these issues. People wouldnt be selling their $7000 kits to buy atis or aps kits that cost less. Or having to go to rmcr and spend 3000 plus to upgrade. It is total bs. Vortech should take the g-trim in on trade.

fwiw i made 526 with dropped compression with an auto and went 10's with a 17 in drag radial with my heavy inch wheels up front, in a lowered full weight car. I'd say my car runs ok. I took Hennytime for a ride a few weeks ago, i think he's a believer, lol.

Ryan you can get the installation manual from the Vortech website, it will show you where to tap and has good pics.

My car NEEDS a T trim bad!

Fact is I can provide PROOF of everything I have stated on this thread! Fact is Inspector made a ton of power with a G trim. Hell I made 680 with a T trim. Oh and if your making 700 rwhp with a D1SC that sucks because we made 700 rwhp with a P1SC.
