Before or after the intercooler? If after how close to the TB?

I'm on a SD tune so no MAF to worry about

Ok sounds like I'll put it on the intake bend right before the throttle body

I think if you sprayed before the intercooler you would get a lot of fallout. I remember reading a post from alkycontrol a long time ago where he said the best place was (If I remember correctly) the last 6 to 8" before the intake.

Julio @ Alkycontrol said you'd get the best IAT results with the meth entering before teh blower, but cautioned that the mist would actually wear the edges off the blades of the impeller.

I have mine about 4" prior to the IAT sensor, it sits approx. 1 1/2" - 2" from the TB.

Car revs to 6500+ now without missing a beat, has exhaust done, no more coolant line or overheating problems, etc

But I do plan on keeping it now long as I can, I really need to pay it off so if I ever loose my job again I can afford to just put it away for a while. No sense owing money on a race car

How bad will the mist wear down the blades? This actually interests me if it works. Any link to the thread or site?

I don't like the idea of pre-IC injection, because if you ever have a backfire, your expen$ive FMIC is the thing that's going to blow. Also, you want the FMIC to extract as much heat as possible, and injecting alky before it compromises the heat extraction.

So not as safe as pre throttle body? What about injecting after the throttle body into the egr port on the intake?

Ya but but i run no IC with my twin meth kit pre turbo and IAT are below 30* @15-24psi. But yes a back fire can be a problem!!! but there are always pros and cons and in the 15 years of injecting fuel before the turbo only once have i had a backfire. So on the street with a IC it might be the best way but on the street but i dont run high boost so i dont need meth to cool the charge that much.

After Maf and a little in front of and across from the IAT. I'm going to have to move it in-line with the IAT as the mist from the nozzle never reaches it at WOT.

actually, for my supercharged 2000 grand prix gtp. i purchased a $45 throttle body spacer and tapped it into there in case i decided to remove it further down the line. i know the ls1 and lt1 has a spacer that you could use as well.
