Re: How bad does D1SC lag?
There's no lag.
You see more boost the higher you rev it.
How fast also depends on pulley size. More boost comes on quicker.
Whether or not you have more stall than stock or an M6 gets your RPMs up quicker, of course, which means you see more boost quicker.
But, there is no lag.

Depends what you consider lag... if it is the time it takes to get from 0psi to full boost... well then you have to wait until your max rpm to see full boost.
But if you mean throttle response... well then it is instant with a centrifugal blower.
If you free rev the engine to max rpm... the blower will be spinning fast enough to make full boost provided the bypass wasn't open and the throttle blade wasn't closed.... which makes for crazy launches.
Centrifugals are strictly rpm dependant so no matter the load, the boost at each specific rpm never changes.... disregarding temp/pulley changes..etc.
