Default mondo bypass users in side!!

i looked in my bypass valve yesterday and noticed i had a black O-ring just looped around the silver shaft.... it was not sealing anything.... is that sapose to be like that?.... where does it go?

mine did that too. if you look at the backside of the diaphragm/plunger you'll notice a groove where that o ring is supposed to sit and seal up when the bypass is closed off. probably not losing boost, but to be safe I took some expoxy and a toothpick and carefully glued that thing back where it belongs in that groove.

If the o-ring is loose you are losing boost ! glue it back in.

Happened to Kp if I remember right. I don't know why they don't glue that bitch in or seal it up some other way..
