I have an Eboost in a customers car. I cant stand the damn thing beeping all the time. Also imho its isnt user friendly during programming. I am using the AEM and another brand on all my new setups and they are a lot nicer unit and very easy to adjust for the money.

Had an e-boost and then purchased an Innovative Boost Controller. Great unit. Simple operation and lots of features. Real user friendly. Never had an AEM, but I have had such great luck with the Innovative I can't find any reason to switch. Good for street and really good for strip. Launch boost; 5 different stages after launch depending on how many times you shift. Has time and ramp. Really easy to use.

I'll say it again for what the poster wants the AEM Tru-Boost beats the E-Boost2 hands down.

Greddy Profec B

Easy to use, simple, cheap compared to others...no reason for those complicated ones. Just need a nice reliable one.

I've only used Apexi and EB2 so they are the only ones I can evaluate.

Apexi = JUNK They may have fixed their QC problem by now but I went through two of them and personally know 2 others that failed and almost cost a couple of engines.

EB2 I use one and set another one up. Easy to program IMHO. Has some nice safety features if used properly that could save an engine if a gate fails. Overboost protection. Overboost warning buzzer, etc.

Best thing about EB2 is that it is very stable in boost control and that is mucho important. Another good thing about EB2 is a lot of people have used it with good results. I've learned the hard way to not R & D new products.

All the others may be great (other than Apexi = junk). But with FI there are a few golden rules. One is don't go cheap on boost control....another is don't go cheap on fuel supply or quality.........

right, the AEM has all the safety features as well, I am not really gong for the cheapest controller, I just don't need all the other features that the EB2 has so I don't see the point in buying it when the AEM one has just what I need.
