WHAT IS THE BEST HEAD GASKET @8PSI What is the best head gastet for us lt1 guys. I just took her out for a spin and after i landed her back on the ground and parked her i noticed a puddle of coolant running out of my driver side header. I used felpro and i dont know if they are junk or if I installed them wrong 
. Thank you for any help.
My set up is a 96TA, vortech blower 8 psi, gtp stage 2 heads,blower cam,hooker long tube headers,and so on

Re: WHAT IS THE BEST HEAD GASKET @8PSI Are those GTP S2's milled by any chance, the felpros I've heard are junk, I would try a cometic gasket, thats what I use, I originally popped a head gasket because my old heads were milled .30 over, and I blew that on 6psi only...puttin down close to 500rwhp

Re: WHAT IS THE BEST HEAD GASKET @8PSI You know i dont know if they are milled down at all. I orderd them with my heads cam/ lifter package. I asaume they have to be milled down some when gtp did them up. Where should i go to buy those gaskets and how much do they cost. I think my car is around 500 horse also. I have not had it on a dyno yet but the last time i took her out it scared the **** out of me. it was so awsome

I would watch the boost levels....I think I might have run into even bigger problems w/my situation w/blowing the head gasket, I get a TON of blow by now, so that leads me to believe that I might have broken ringlands

Re: WHAT IS THE BEST HEAD GASKET @8PSI Dont get their HP series, they leak to much alot of people have problems with the rubber inlay sliding.
Im trying their regular MLS gasket, hopefully they do better.
