Best buildup for blown 6.0L
I'm curious as to what parts everyone here with a blower or turbo setup uses and recommends. I know it's going to vary, and that's what I'm looking for. Plan on using stock crank, and stock displacement other than a little .030" overbore. ARP studs and bolts for the bottom end, but as far as rods/pistons, stuff like that, what does everyone recommend. I have the aluminum 6.0L heads which I'd like to use and have ported, but by whom?? TEA?? MTI?? Local shop sufficient? Probably use a LS6 intake, with an ATI setup (very unlikely this motor will see a turbo, but ya never know). ATI is just down the street, and I have two friends that work there. Probably going to use a t-56 trans, and a 12 bolt with a 4-link in rear. Plan right now is to put this in a early model S-10, but I saw another clean Monte Carlo today, so I'm going to check around on an 86ish Monte Carlo too. What do you blower goons think?? I've had a turbo motor, and a blower motor before, so I know of good parts, but this will be my first LS1 style buildup. Thanks.
