HELP! guys with procharger going mid 9s...

y'all are correct... I have my fan set to 215... Im gonna change that to come on at 190 and off at 175... But I ordered the Meizer Ls1 EWP, fan control switch and some 3935 autolite plugs and gonna see what happens...

Leak down was good... All 8 held at 20psi...

2 plugs were pretty bad, but all of them looked like she's running lean...

Going to send the converter back to TCI and have the stall speed raised to about 4800 from the 3800-4000 in it currently...

If i get some free time i'll have to come to one of your tracks KP and do some side by side mid 9second shake downs with ya!

I may be coming up there for some cooler weather soon, its summertime here and I usually stay at home in the summer

let me know what weekend and track and i'll try to make it! I wouldnt plan on comin down south till late august... But still some side by side passes would be sweet...

Come on down to the LSx race in memphis in october, lot of guys going to be there and I'm sure we can get side by side.

here too I'm not sure what class I'm running in, all I have is a set of worn out 275 ET drag radials on moldy draglites so if I run drag radial I'll have to buy tires. Might just do the 9.50 index but I'd like to run all out..

Im certain i'll do the drag radial class... If the track hooks like Milan, I should be fine... But i'll bring the slicks just incase...

Looks like a pretty impressive event... Cant wait and hopefully nothing breaks prior to it! haha...

yea this t/a likes to leave hard but thats with the suspension set really loose and I had slicks on... w/ drag radials my short time drops a good 8 hundreths to the 1.4x range...

I've been in the 1.280s on the 275/60s on a very good track on a cool day (60' clocks vary a bit track to track remember). Most are in the low 1.30s with them but my car is light. Maybe I'll try the 325s DRs on my spare 10" wheels but I hate to buy a set of tires for one race..

I cant do bracket racing because its not very consistant... I'll be doing the 4 day gig in d/r... thats the class i run at milan and with the speed of cars in detroit, i prolly wont even qual for the next race in august... we had our first single digit 16 field... and i went 9.62 with a 15th place qualifying run... eeek...

The index cars will be tight, last index race I qualified 9.53, ran 9.53 and 9.53 on a 9.50 index and broke out with a 9.40 the last pass, try judging a car going 100mph at the stripe when you are going 145

Its a ways down the road anyhow, long enough time for me to decide

I did cut a better light, just hard to judge at the end, he broke out too - I just broke out more

Maybe keep your stall where you have it, what are your short times now? Your car leaves hard, heck you might need a 2step.

Already have a 2step...

Typically i leave it around 3700... should i get a bigger stall? If i leave on the converter it only stalls till about 4100

Run two 12in. puller fans and electric water pump and re-set your fans to come on at 140 and your problems should be solved.Made 6 passes last week with about 15 min. between runs at 82 degree day and temp. never got past 160.
