It's the Speed Inc. 234/234//113 cam.

Yup it was that Starbucks Dave.

I'm doing a lot of weight reduction right now (alum center, spool; drag brakes) so the car will soon be as light as it can be short of taking out the radio and some little stuff like that.

I don't have the heater core anymore, I might put a heater back in some day but not until the car runs some great numbers.

FWIW, after almost 6 years, my old 31 spline axles still look good. The locker on the other hand looks like it's broken in some way, so it's a good thing I changed the parts out before beating on the car again. I went to 35 spline axles, aluminum center section. Still running a 3.50 gear. Also went with Aerospace brakes up front, and Strange in back.

Sounds kind of weak for a race car, I wish mine sounded weak. I get a headache every time I drive mine. Must be nice to drive around a 9 second car sounding like a 12 second car. Hurry up and get some track times, I'm sure I'm not the only one that want's to see what it can do.

I'm anti-raunchy, I like mine sounding like a 12 second car and hopefully performing like an 8 second car.

I've always lived in Chicago, so I try to keep the cars from getting too loud, and I have yet to get visited by the cops for noise complaints.

Thats a good thing. It's funny, my car is so loud but they never mention that, I get tickets for my tints lol. They always comment on the "slicks" also even though they are DOT. I tell them that and they just say they don't care lol.
