Detonation Need Help

Turbo is too small for the setup like 1320 said. At your boost level you are just heating up the air, not making power. Your back pressure is probably insane. What turbine wheel is in that and what a/r? I had detonation problems caused by too much back pressure and was able to add quite a bit more timing after fixing that issue. My 100 octane tune became my 91 octane tuned, gained 3 degrees of timing on 91 octane and another 4 degrees on 100 octane after fixing the problem.

Your rediculously high IATs with meth spraying leads me to believe you are out of turbo. They are probably 250+ or so without the meth.

The IAT sensor is in the turbo tube write by the throttlebody.I have the intercooler Billy sells at TRT.Also noticed that the top radiator hose is up against the top turbo tube were the IAT sensor is.Could this be causeing the IAT temps to be so high.I'll have to double check the temps on that to be sure.Could all the oil going in the turbo tube and intake be causeing a problem since I still have the pcv system.What size turbo do I need for a 408 that will work with a STS kit.What kind of price and were to buy.

Just got back In town to drive the car to check IAT temps It was 90 deg. outside and the IAT temp was 100deg. just cruiseing around.

Also we cant get the car to do a crank relearn and weve tried two different Tech 2,s can this be causeing a problem with the timeing like say that LS1 Edit is showing 14deg. but its actually alot higher from not haveing a crank relearn done.
